EP7 & EP10 Current Sense Transformers

EPCOS / TDK EP7 and EP10 Current Sense Transformers are compact SMT current sense transformers designed for power electronics. This series features ferrite cores and is available with a variety of turn ratios. The transformers offer a -40°C to +150°C operating temperature range. They are suitable for measuring current in the frequency range from 50kHz to 250kHz. The test voltage between the primary and secondary sides is 2400V_AC and the creepage distances meet the requirements for basic insulation according to IEC 60664. Additional features include 1.9mΩ maximum primary resistance, 2.1Ω to 5.3Ω maximum secondary resistance, and 1:50 to 1:125 turns ratio. Applications include switch-mode power supplies and all types of converters. EPCOS / TDK EP7 and EP10 Current Sense Transformers are AEC-Q200 qualified and also can be used in xEV applications.
